The problem
A cheque isn't money until the bank clears it. Standard Ultimate POS records a cheque as a payment and then forgets about it, so the invoice shows as paid even if the cheque is still in a drawer. Due dates get missed. When a cheque bounces, someone has to work out which invoice it paid and what the customer really owes. Before long, the paper folder and the system no longer agree.
What you get
Automatic cheque capture
Take a cheque payment on a sale and it joins the portfolio on its own, with the number, bank, drawer, cheque date, and due date.
Batch deposits and slips
Select several cheques, deposit them together, and print a deposit slip with the count and total for the bank.
Bounced cheques become debt
Record a bounce with the bank's reason. The payment comes off the invoice and the customer owes the amount again.
Re-present to the bank
Send a bounced cheque back to the bank and the payment is restored. Made a mistake on clearing? Undo it.
Dashboard and cash flow
See totals by status, cheques due to deposit, deposits not yet cleared, and the money expected each week.
Protected payments
Once a cheque reaches the bank, its payment can't be changed or deleted by accident, and its status can only move in valid steps.
Customer cheques tab
Open a customer to see their cheques. A home page banner reminds your team what's due.
Filters and Excel export
Filter by status, due date, bank, number, or drawer, then export the full filtered list to Excel.
Roles and languages
Separate view and manage permissions, location access, and English, French, and Arabic included.

How it works
- Receive
Take a cheque payment on a sale. It appears in the portfolio with its due date.
- Deposit
Pick the cheques that are due, deposit them as a batch, and print the slip.
- Settle
Mark each cheque cleared. If one bounces, the customer owes it again until it's paid back or re-presented.
